Conrad's work schedule has not allowed him a chance to watch Kaden's baksetball all season and this week, because he has been off work, he was been able to attend Monday's game and the game today.

The girls were absolutely giddy this morning as the high anticipated high school spirit week began. Day 1 is colour day and it was "welcome to blue country" as the Grade 12s decorated the school in blue. Grade 10s didn't put up any decorations but won the dressing up part with the most participants.The girls love everything about spirit week and didn't even mind when I asked for them to send me a picture of them all dressed up.

It was the last game of the regular season and ended in a 5-2 loss for Kaden's team. Kaden did score the first goal and assisted the second but they couldn't manage a win against this second place team.

The girls found a cinnamon bun cookie recipe and decided to try it out. They also cooked supper tonight. Sometimes this whole "kids-growing-up-and-being-more-independent" stuff isn't so bad! :)
