Kezia has been following this bakery on instagram and we decided that for her birthday that we would splurge and get her these specialty cupcakes. I also picked up some macaroons and it was a good thing I preordered them because when I arrived to pick up the cupcakes, the display case had no macaroons left.

Papa Murphy's online deal, BOGO coupon, and "delite" BBQ chicken pizza that it into my calorie allowance was a supper win tonight. It seems like lately we've had more meals with everyone around the table than we have in years due to the fact that instead of activities being spread out over every week night we have a few crazy nights and a few nights off from extra-curricular activities or at least ones that end early enough to have supper together.

This afternoon we picked Kiandra up from school. She was attending a Jazz band winter camp for the weekend. Her weekend was full of workshops with clinicians, outdoor activities, and not a whole lot of sleep. We collected the rest of her things after this photo was snapped and then went home and Kiandra retired for the night very early!

Gas is 83.4 cents a litre! I know the tank was not quite empty but I'm sure it's been awhile since we could fill it up for $50....not that I really ever fill up but I'm sure it's been awhile! ;)

It was super exciting for me to be invited along when Kezia took her friend, Katrine,  out for her birthday to see Big Hero 6. I have to say that it's a pretty exciting stage when I get to hang out with my daughter with my friends (like when Kezia came to the States on NYE) and now being asked to hang out with her and her friend.
